How to Use Those Shampoos That Curl Hair and Save You All The Trouble?

The steps on using curl activating shampoos include washing, applying the shampoo , and rinsing it out. If you don’t know how to use a curling activator shampoo, this article will explain how to use them.

Steps 1: Choose a shampoo that has curl activators in it. (Duh!)

Look for one with a label that reads “curl activators.”

Steps 2: Wash your hair with the product.

Washing with the shampoo will activate the curls and make them stick up. This is because of the surfactants in the shampoo.

Steps 3: Rinse thoroughly.

Rinsing your hair after using the shampoo will help to remove any residue from the product.

How to do this correctly is by simply rinsing them under cold running water, until you feel it is thoroughly clean when you run your fingers through it. Never use hot water, as it will take the moisture away, leaving you with crunchy curls you did not sign up for.

Steps 4: Curl your hair while it is still wet.

If you want to have them more curly, then you need to do this step before drying them out.

If you have straight one, then you can wait until after you have dried them thoroughly.

Steps 5: Dry your hair. This step is optional.

You can dry them as soon as you have finished washing your hair or you can wait until after you have curled them completely.

Use a dryer sheet. If you don’t want your hair to get frizzy, you’ll need to use a dryer sheet. The dryer sheets will add volume and hold the curls.

Steps 6: Blow-dry your hair.

Blow-drying your hair will set the curls. Once you’re done, you can now style your hair as usual. You should notice that your hair is now more manageable and easier to style by now.
